First polish hydrogen powered locomotive

Designed and constructed in PESA Bydgoszcz , the locomotive was just approved receiving  the certificate of approval issued by Railway Transportation Office.

The locomotive was designed by engineers from PESA. Construction works were carried out in cooperation with polish and foreign technological partners.

The locomotive is powered by zeroemission hydrogen engine. Total energy generated by two hydrogen cell amounts to 170 KW and hydrogen tanks provide maximum volume of 175 kg. One fueling allows for a daily maneuvers of the locomotive.
