Hydrogen as a key to energy transformation in Germany: Sunfire delivers a 100-MW alkaline electrolyzer for RWE’s project in Lingen
Sunfire has secured a contract to supply a 100-MW alkaline electrolyzer to RWE’s hydrogen project in Lingen, Germany. The facility, expected to be operational by the end of 2027, will include ten 10-MW modules from Sunfire, representing one-third of the total production capacity in the third phase of construction. The plant will scale up to 300 MW and produce up to two tons of green hydrogen per hour, targeting industrial users in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. This marks a significant step in the ongoing collaboration between RWE and Sunfire.
